Craft Revival Workshops
Kalamunda Central will be hosting some craft R E V I V A L Classes: aimed at reviving those crafts that you once did as a youngster which are now finding their way back to being “on trend”.
Think crochet, felting, knitting, pottery, macrame, embroidery, string art, sketching, painting etc.
Grab a friend or meet some new friends and get creating, perfect for stay at home mums wanting an outing or retirees wanting to unleash their inner maker!
These R E V I V A L Workshops are aimed at seniors, however anyone over the age of 18 can attend, and we encourage people to bring along their parents and grandparents. Facilitating intergenerational activities reignite the passion that the elderly once had, whether it be teaching the younger generation, hearing about their experiences and life skills, talking about themselves (not just talking about the weather or being talked at) and getting creative so that their art and crafts are a conversational point.
Running from 9.30am- 11.30am, there are 10 spaces in each session.
- Friday March 2
- Friday April 6
- Friday May 4
- Friday June 1
Book your space by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
Sessions will be held near The Coffee Club, crafts will be announced closer to the date.
