Hi, I’m Adam hort

I’m proud to be the Member for Kalamunda, though I always prefer to call it the Perth Hills. Our region is more than a name—it’s a way of life.

Chanelle and I both grew up here, and we’re now raising our own children in Lesmurdie. There’s nothing quite like a Hills childhood. Fresh air, space to explore, and a tight-knit community—it’s something special, and we’re lucky to be part of it.

The Perth Hills are known for their heritage, natural beauty, and strong local spirit. I’m determined to help protect all of it. This isn’t just where we live. It’s home.

My approach is simple. Less talk, more action. I want our community to feel heard and represented. That means listening first, then working hard to get results.

I come from a family of farmers and healthcare workers. They taught me the value of showing up, putting in the work, and looking out for others. Those lessons guide me every day—whether I’m backing small businesses, standing up for local services, or making sure the Hills get their fair share.

Good decisions start locally. That’s why I support practical, community-led investment. When we back seniors, families, clubs, and volunteers, we build something stronger for everyone.

I’m focused on easing cost-of-living pressures, strengthening frontline services, and supporting local job creation. These things matter, and they won’t fix themselves.

Before Parliament, I worked as a Chief Pharmacist and served as Deputy Mayor. I know how to bring people together and make things happen. That’s how I’ll keep serving the Perth Hills—with energy, respect, and a clear focus on what’s right for our community.
